Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering
DiplomaElectronics and Communications Engineering:
To develop electronic circuits, devices, VLSI devices, and their systems, nonlinear and active electrical components (such as semiconductor devices, notably transistors, diodes, and integrated circuits) are used. Passive electrical components, usually based on printed circuit boards, are also designed by this field.
Electronics is a subfield of the larger academic subject of electrical engineering, but it refers to a vast engineering discipline that includes subfields including analogue electronics, digital electronics, consumer electronics, embedded systems, and power electronics.
Electronics engineering is concerned with the application of principles, algorithms, and applications developed in a variety of related fields, such as solid-state physics, radio engineering, telecommunications, control systems, signal processing, systems engineering, computer engineering, instrumentation engineering, electric power control, and robotics.
