Our institution was established in the year 1985 and inaugurated by the then Chief Minister Sri. Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao garu with the visionary ideology of women education for equality in society, which in turn bolsters the growth and development of the nation.

Since then, the institute has been educating girl students for the past 40 years — more than a generation — and still continues with the same zeal and commitment.

It is an exclusively women’s polytechnic meant for girls from rural backgrounds. The institute is spread over 15.5 acres of lush green campus that includes a large playground, modern laboratories with modern equipment, and a safe and comfortable girls’ hostel within the campus.
